Replacing art (Papajohn)

Hi Papajohn - in one of your recent replies to a post you suggested the user
download and replace one of their graphic files with one of yours (title
overlay kit).

I don't understand how to do that. Could you please explain?

for others reading this, the reference is to my Title Overlay Starter Kit on
the Editing Movies > XML - Persian Section > Script Types > Custom Overlays
page of my website.

the kit has an XML file and 10 PNG files to use as overlays

it's the other way around... replace my samples with your own... use mine
just to check that the process works on your system.. if it doesn't, then
you probably don't have it setup right.

3 of my 5 newsletters about using custom overlays are online with links on
that website page to... they go into more detail then the website page

I guess I don't know what you need more help with... is it how to install
the Starter Kit, how to make your own PNG file with transparency in a
graphics software app (IrfanView, PhotoShop, Paint.NET can all do it), how
to name a saved PNG file with the same name as one in the Kit, or how to
copy your new file to replace the one in the Kit?

It's how to copy my file to replace the one in the kit.

delete the one in the Shared folder that came with the kit, and put yours in
its place.... and have yours with the exact same file name... such as
Overlay1.png
