WINDOWS XP

I am running ME on a Compaq Presario series 5WV270 5000.
750 MHz processor
64MB ram
8MB Nvida TNT2 Graphics
HSP56 MICRO MODEM (56K)
I purchased XP Windows and installed. These are the things
that happened.
1. modem was called some other type
2. Microsoft Works didn't work
3. Onetouch scanner quit.
4. Cannon i550 worked differently
5. Winfax and Paper Port worked differently

Please advise.

It would have been good if you had looked at this before you installed XP,
or ran the compatibility checker on the install CD:
