assistance with a constant problem

Hello I was hoping someone could help me with my problem,
I'm working with a Compaq Presario 5000 Series, Windows
XP. Well I recently rebooted my computer, and lately
whenever I turn my computer on it takes a total of 5 to 8
minutes to load up. And then an error comes up, saying a
problem occurred while NT On-Access Scanner was trying to
load and had to close. Then it instructs me to send an
error report to Macintosh, I send the error report
everytime, but it doesn't fix the problem. I can't seem
to locate this, nor do I know what it is, if anyone is
familiar or can assist me in anyway I would really
appreciate it.

NT On-Access Scanner is part of McAfee's products. please reinstall them or
contact McAfee for help.

I think you mean "Microsoft" not " Macintosh"

If you can provide more exacpt error messages you will get more support.
