Windows XP Pro Restore

R

Richie

I was in the middle of downloading Service Pack 1 and had
to cancel before it was finidhed. When I went to restart,
that's all I get now is the XP logo then the IBM logo and
this process keeps going on and on never booting. I tried
to (F8) boot in safe mode and tried to go back to the
last known good configuration but when I do so it just
keeps going to the logos and dosen't boot up. Is there
any way that I can do a system restore with the XP cd?
Thank you for any help on this.

Guess what, Service Pack 1 for XP works on about 80
percent of the computers, but there is that 20 percent it
will crash, or lock up the computer, rendering it unusable
till the problems have been resolved in removing it, by
reinstalling WinXP. Have a bunch of programs installed
and don't want to use them, they just click on setup.exe
for WinXP and you can reinstall just windows, keeping your
programs and data intact.

Hope this helps your thinking.
