Hi every one,

Windows XP hanging up when I connect to the internet
which is running on a laptop.

I have recently upgraded my laptop from Windows 2000
professional to Windows XP professional. Then when ever I
try to connect to the internet through my ADSL modem
(external) using the USB cable, the system hangs up, so
that I cant even use the keyboard or the short key
[Ctrl+Alt+Delete] to End task or restart.

I've scanned the system with Norton Antivirus and I
haven't found any problem with it. I've used Ad-aware too
and I cleaned the system from web junks. Now I don't know
what is the problem and where is it in my laptop, please
can any one help.!!?

Regards,

..

I suggest you visit the modem manufacturers website and download their
latest driver. Probably using someone else's PC if you haven't got an
alternative access yourself.

Hope this helps...
