Windows XP Can't see Windows 98 PC in Network Neighbourhood

I can ping the 98 PC with the XP PC but I can't see it in
network neighbourhood or map a network drive to it?

sounds like name resolution issue. try to enable netbios over tcp/ip on xp
first.
