I have an external hard drive that won't work with VISTA. It works with my
laptop (which has XP). However, my desktop with VISTA o/s does not recognize
the drive. The manufacture and seller have no solutions and say to check
with Microsoft. Of course, I find nothing from Microsoft for my problem. I
use this drive for back-up, and it is frustrating that it won't work.

I might add that, although I wouldn't be as harsh as some writers, most of
my programs did not work with VISTA and required me to buy new ones. I also
had to do a bunch of fixes to get my clip art to work - "fooling the machine"
so it would print them. So, it does have a lot of problems VISTA.

Any help with my problem with the external drive will be SOOOO appreciated.
