I have downloaded the iso file (x86) using the akamai download manager and I
set it to save the file on my Windows Vista Beta 2 desktop. It downloaded
successfully to the desktop but when i look at my deskotp, it is not there.
However, when i run the download manager again, and browse to the desktop in
the "save as" dialog box, I see the file there. But, it is not on m real
desktop. Can someone please help?
Thanks.

Hmmm...
Not CERTAIN this will work for you, but right-click on your desktop, choose
"sort by", then, any of the choices. See what happens.

Same thing happened to me , what i did was to download it from my Xp computer
instead from my vista computer. I also recommend to use a daemon tool to
record it and a burning software that can record with the iso-13346 that is
the one that is required. i used asshampoo burning studio . I made a first
copy with nero that didnt work completely.
