Windows Update and Windows 2000 Professional

Good afternoon,

When running Windows Update on a non administrator account
does the update apply correctly to Windows 2000? Should
Windows Updates only be applied by persons with
administrator access?

Greetings --

Most, if not all, of the updates require the user to have
administrative privileges to the workstation, or they will not
install.
