Windows Updat problem

Hey guys sorry to bother you , I need some help wanna
know if anybody else has had a problem with the critical
patch "nr.331953: Security Update (Windows XP)
Download size: 735 KB, < 1 minute
A security issue has been identified that could allow an
attacker to cause a computer running Microsoft® Windows®
to fail. An attacker would need the ability to connect to
a process on the computer. You can help protect your
computer by installing this update from Microsoft. After
you install this item, you may have to restart your
computer. Read more..."

I donwload it but for some reason , it wont install

Why it does not install I don't know. But unless 'An attacker *has*
the ability to connect to a process on the computer' I suggest you
don't need it. The attacker would need to be on another machine
networked to yours, or be a limited user trying to wreak havoc. Such
things really only apply to corporate networks needing to protect
themselves against a potentially dis-affected employee. Unless you are
in that position, I would leave it
