I'm in the process of downloading the windows up-dates
and it recomends backingup my files.
the steps it gives me are not on my OS as discribed .
It states click start point to all programs, point to
accessories, point to system tools ,and then click backup.
When I point to system tools it does not display backup .
this is whats listed on my system tools
Character Map
Disk Cleanup
Disk Defragmenter
Files and settings Transfer Wizard
Scheduled Tasks
System Information
System Restore
I have Windows X P
I would appreciate your help

Hi - NTBackup isn't installed by default in XP Home. Find your XP CD and
check out the following link....

Note that if you have a customized recovery CD from your computer
manufacturer, or don't have a CD at all, this may not be possible. I do
think you're wise for wanting to back up your data, but if all else fails,
you could copy your My Documents & other data folders to an external hard
drive, burn a CD, whatnot.

Ntbackup is on the windows installation CD in the folder \ValueAdd\MSFT.
If you don't have the CD you can download Ntbackup from here:
