The blue screen usually gives you the name of a driver that crash.

What is the name of the file?

Thanks

I have the same problem, but the blue screen flashes so quickly I can't read it. How do I hold this screen?

I have same shutting down problem. Usually within the first 5-10 minutes of powering up laptop, I get the blue screen for about 1/2 second (can't read anything) and then laptop restarts and the problem does not come up again until I restart next day. HOW DO I FREEZE BLUE SCREEN SO I CAN READ THE ERROR?

XP is preconfigured to reboot automatically after a system error.

To change this setting (if you can get XP to run:):

Right-Click My Computer on the desktop or in the start menu
