Windows Messenger Install Error

I recently installed Windows Messenger 5.0.0482 on my
Windows XP machine. It seems to work fine for 1 day, but
now I keep getting installer coming up and failing with
the message "An error occured during the installation of
assmebly component {874793FC-5F43-496A-8FE7-18C4DB9B143D}.
HRESULT: -2147024864." I tried the repair function as
well, but get the same error. Any ideas?

To figure out exactly what's going on here, click Start, then Run, type "eventvwr.msc" and
click OK, click Application on the left-side, then look for Error's from the "MsiInstaller"
source. The most recent one should be it, assuming you haven't had any other problems with a
Windows Installer. Double-click the Error, and look in the Description field for a more
accurate description of the problem. If you post this description (there may be multiple
errors in the Event Viewer, so post all of them), we may be able to help much more easier.
