Windows Messenger - auto sign in problem

Guest

Hi
Last time I used Windows Messenger, I must have ticked the box to
automatically sign me in when I open the program - as I share a laptop with
others, how can I get back to the situation that whoever uses it has to type
in their passport and password before using the progam?
Thanks very much.

Greetings Kev,

To correct this, just click the Start Button, then click the Control Panel. Then, click User
Accounts in the Control Panel. Select the Windows account name in question, and then on the
left side of the screen, under Related Tasks, click 'Manage my Network Passwords'. In the
window that opens, click the Passport.Net\* (Passport) entry and click 'Remove'. The saved
Passport will then be gone.

If you wish to force this and never allow anyone to save their Passport, download and run
this .reg file:

You'll need to reboot to see the change.
