Windows Media Player 9 - video garbled

I have movie clips from my digital camera that I was able
to play for a long time using Windows Media Player 9.

Now all that plays is the audio - the video is garbled.

The audio & video play OK under Quicktime.

How do I fix Windows Media Player 9?
