Windows Mail - Unable to Send/Receive

D

DJ

When attempting to Send/Receive I get the following error: "Some errors
occurred while processing the requested tasks. Please review the list of
errors below for more details." There is never any list of errors. It will
only work if I run Receive seperately. This happened the very first time I
attempted to use Windows Mail. I am VERY tempted to re-install Outlook
Express.........

This is a group for DotNet developers/programmers.

You'll have more luck with a newsgroup with "windows" in the name of
it.....or "outlook".

Good luck.

Are you sure WM is properly configured? Double-check with your ISP. If so,
try disabling any email scanning features in your AV software and see if
that helps. If you are using Norton (notorious for causing email issues),
completely uninstall Norton and see if your email works.

In any case, you should make additional posts to a discussion group for
Vista/WM. Here's how to find them.

As you appear to be using a web interface, go here:

http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/

In the tree on the left, open English, then open Windows. In Windows, open
the Windows Vista category and find a group there for your question.
