windows keeps saying unable to add hardware

I have hewlett packard psc 1110 all-in-one. I have trouble
shot w\hp. they got me no where. I have tried installing
and uninstalled. and then restored. Another person has
same prob. they had to download the printer files of the
hp web site. I have even tried that and it still is not
recognizing the printer it did recognize the scanner but
now it does recognize it either. What do i do?

haha...I have had the same problem with my hp psc 1200 for a month now and no hope appears to be coming
