Windows installer

I am running Windows XP SP2 and all of a sudden am running into a problem
installing. It brings up the Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility
Version 5.00.1012. After I run that it will reboot, but I can never install
the actual program I want to install. It seems the installer is blocked by
something. Any insides on that?

The latest Intel Chipset package is 6.3.0.1007

tried the link provided and it downloaded the new version but it did not
install it. so I am back to square 1.
