I have tried "every which way" to install an hp scanjet. I've contacted hp
and have exhausted all the possibilities for resolving the problem.....which
is the hp softaware will not install. I've checked it out on other computer
and it works. In the last analysis hp tell me that my "windows installer" is
the culprit. they say it is not allowing the hp files to update. the error
message I get is mdfix01.
