Windows Installer package

I can't deleate a program and keep receiving a 1721 error
message with the statement that a portion of the Windows
Installer package is missing. How do I fix this?

Install xp cd,exit the info page,go to run,type:cmd In cmd type:
Sfc /Scannow When the graph bar is thru,type:CHKDSK C: /F Agree to
restart,then type:EXIT Restart computer,also,run the DOS window
in min.,sometimes the graph bar runs behind it.When you need installer
to run,go to run,type:services.msc Scroll down to installer,L.click on
it,start
service,you should also double click on it,select auto start from manual.
