Windows Installer Caught In A Loop

Every time I open Outlook, Windows Installer tries to install...something - not sure what it is. As long as Outlook is open, Installer keeps looping until I close the program. I get error message 1317. I've tried to reinstall MS Office and also did a couple of system restores to earlier dates, but nothing works. I downloaded a program called GoToMyPC as a free download, and had trouble deleting it. I thought I got rid of it, but maybe not and this is where the problem comes from. Any help would be great and thanks in advance.

Nancy,

What it seems it is trying to do is to create a folder and may not have
permissions or the folder may not be able to be created for other reasons.
This is what Error 1317 is for.

You can get into regedit and do a search (F3) for GoToMyPC and delete the
references to to program. The standard registry disclaimer stands -- if you
don't know how to back up and restore your registry, go here for more info
(http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=322756).

Randy,

Thanks for your help. So sorry to not get back to you sooner, but I had to go out of town. I will try this tomorrow and let you know.
