Windows File Protection

Chad

I am receiving a constant message that is
labeled "Windows File Protection". It states that Files
that are required for Windows to run properly have been
replaced by unrecognizable versions. Insert
Reinstallation CD, including Service Pack 1.

I just deleted and restored Windows XP. When I insert
the Service Pack, it just shows me the drivers of which I
just installed.

Is there any way to clear this message as it just keeps
repeating itself no matter what option I click on the
message.

You are seeing this message because some program/utility/spywear/virus on
your computer is constantly over writing critical system files. You have to
clean off the program/utility/spywear/virus that is doing this.

Then you need the Windows XP CD to run "system file checker" to replace the
corrupted files. It will not work with an OEM installation CD, unless it is
a full copy of Windows XP.
