Mistakenly I deleted the Favorites Folder from My Documents while in Windows
Explorer. How do I put that folder back in my documents so it is properly
linked and will place newly saved favorites that I set up while in Internet
Explorer. Trying to fix this error I sent the favorites folder located at
My computer>C>Documents & settings>owner>favorites to My Documents folder.
However, any newly added favorites I establish in Internet Explorer do not
show up in My Documents >Favorites but only in IE favorites. Thanks for your

Is Favorites still in the Recycle Bin?

Locate the Recycle Bin for the drive / partition and double click to
Open. Find the Folder, right click and select Restore.

This solution if you deleted using Shift + Delete.

Favorites did not go to the recycle bin. It was just gone.

Try this:
make this folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Favorites
Then open IE and see if Favorites is there. If it is, you should be able to
add to it.

If that does not work, then find someone with a pc and same OS. Get a copy
of their favorites folder and put it into that position. I know this is a
pain, but it should work.

All is well. Thanks. I don't know how but when I restarted my computer this
morning the favorites folder was back exactly where it should be located.
c>documents & settings>owner>favorites.
