Windows Explorer Missing

Here's what happened: 1. I clicked on Windows Explorer; 2. the little
flashlight popped up and said it was searching; 3. the flashlight went away
and a new window opened which was titled "Remote Assistance; 4. now the
Windows Explorer Icon is gone and the Remote Assistance Icon is on my Start
button list instead.

I have searched for Windows Explorer and it just doesn't seem to exist on my
computer anymore.

Help???

Did you try this, open a CMD prompt and type this:
sfc /scannow - Scans the integrity of all protected system files and repairs
the system files if needed. sfc /verifyonly - Scans and only verifies the
integrity of all protected system files only.

How do I "open a CMD prompt?" I have scanned all of my files using McAfee
and it says there were no problems.

I figured out how to run svc /scannow and ran it. Still no Windows Explore
anywhere on my computer. Any other suggestions? Thanks!
