Windows Explorer default view

I've read where there is a way to change the default view
when you open Windows Explorer.

Currently, mine is the factory default with "Desktop/My
Computer/My Network Places/Recycle Bin/My Documents".

I'd like to change it to default to the breakdown of "My
Computer".

How do I do that?

Don't recall where at the moment. I do know I edited the registry to
make mine come up differently.

You can right click on explorer.exe, select Properties, and the
shortcut tab has a field labeled "Start In". Perhaps that will give
you the option you want.

Kurt,

Actually, the procedure you gave is not correct. The
Properties/Start In box just tells the shortcut where to
begin looking for related files.

If you can remember where the Registry change is made, I'd
appreciate it.

Thanks,
Doug
