Windows Explorer default folder

How do I set what folder windows explorer opens to when I
start windows explorer? Right now it goes to documents and
settings. I would like for it to open to "c:\Dave" by
default.

I know it seems to simple, but I am really having a hard
time finding any documentation on this matter.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

You'll need to change the Explorer shortcut to include "/e, c:\Dave". So if
you right click on your Windows Explorer shortcut and go to properties,
change the "Target" field text to:

%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /e, c:\Dave

That should do it.

HTH.
