Windows Components Installation

I was trying to install the "Internet Information Services (IIS)". I checked
the component and clicked next when an error message popped up:

Setup cannot copy the file staxmen.dl_.

Copy files from: C:\i386

When I checked the folder i386 the file staxmem.dl_ was there, however no
matter how many time I tried "Retry" the same error kept occuring.

I loaded the Windows XP professional Service Pack 2 CD and browsed to the
same folder, but even though the file was there the same copy error kept
occuring.

Does anyone know what the actual problem is?

Try extracting the file into the proper location, since this is a compressed
file, it needs to be uncompressed ie extracted.

However, what's the proper location and what do I use the extract it, and
why doesn't windows automatically perform the proper operations? I should
just have to check the appropriate component and windows should install it.
