Windows 2003 server. Kill terminal services sessions on a colocation

Hugo

Hi Everyone,

I have a windows 2003 server placed at a colocation. (4 hours drive
there and back). For some reason, every month or so, i get the
following message trying to login using terminal services:

The terminal server has exceeded the maximum number of allowed
connections.

I use the default firewall of windows 2003. The server is connected
directly to the internet. It seems to me that only ports 80 and
terminal services ports are open.

Is there a way to kill sessions remotely? (so i can login again)

thanks,

hugo

Yes, but I'm not sure if they work over the Internet.

I guess that your problem is caused by a large number of disconnected
sessions, is that correct? You could set a time limit on disconnected
sessions and have them automatically reset after the time out.
