Win2k pro cannot access win2k3 shares

Hi everyone, I have this problem that I put under your consideration.

I have a win2k pro sp4, I log on successfully into win2k3 server but i can't
access shares on that server.

please any help

What error message is displayed and how did you connect to the share? Via
my network places or \\servername\sharename ?

this is the error i've got
There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request
when i just type \\server

Google gives me about 9,600 hits for the message
"currently no logon servers available".
