XP Pro to Win2K ok but Win2K to XP, *not* ok

Please help:

Both are in the same home network called 'mshome'
Both can ping each other
I can transfer files from WinXP but I can't see the XP machine from
Win2k
WinXP Pro firewall is off.
Other WinXP Pro boxes can connect and transfer files to the WinXP Pro.
The appropriate network shares are enabled.
I'm logged on as the same user in both boxes
Both have dhcp enabled.

On the W2k SP4 box, I've re-install tcpip but still no cigar.

Why can't I see or connect to the WinXP boxes from this W2k box?
Upgrading this particular box is not an option. Thanks in advance.

You are going from an older version to a newer one, it is not going to
be easy, BUT one way is to make EXACTLY the same user name account AND
password on each machine. You don't have to actually use the account,
it just needs to be created on each machine.

Hello (e-mail address removed),

Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP on both machines
network properties>TCP/IP>advanced>WINS>enable netbios over TCP

Make sure on every machine is the same user account and password and they
are both in the same workgroup.

Best regards
