Win2000Pro - Limit access to IE only.

Jerry

I've got a stand-alone PC running Win 2000 Pro connected to a cable modem.
Besides Admin. I created a user with Guest type access. Do I use gpedit.msc
to turn off all but IE access.
I want this user acct. to be able to access the Internet (visit sites), but
not have access to anything else on the system.
This PC is for cable modem Internet access display. I intend to use one of
the HOST files promoted in alt.privacy.spyware.
I appreciate any help tossed my way!

I have seen 3rd party utilities that allow IE to take over the whole screen
and allow nothing else but don't know what they are called I'm afraid.
But in any case, your best option might be to use terminal services instead.
