Win2000 Pro and 200gig drives

I am having trouble getting windows 2000 pro to recognize
a large drive. I bought a 200 gig western digital and the
OS only reports 137 or so gigs of space. I was sent to
the MS KB per Asus (motherboard manufacturer) tech
support, something about a registry key. I found the
following article

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;305098&Product=win2000

but am having trouble following it. I locate the and add
the entries per the article but I am unable to enter 0x1
as the value. Is that the correct KB article? if so, what
I am doing wrong?

Thanks for any assistance.

Yep, figured that out. Still didn't solve my problem.
Letting the win2000 cd do the format on the drive gets me
where I am at. I suppose my option is a controller card.
Do you know any better?
