Win XP Pro instal probs...

When trying to instal XP Pro I get this message:

The file “………..†was not copied correctly
The file Setup placed on your hard drive is not a valid XP system image…….

1) Switched out Hard Drive with a backup
2) Switched a CD-ROM with a backup
3) Replaced wires.....
does anyone know what might be causing this error? thanks for your time_Rich_

Rich, is your WinXP CD a valid disk? If yes, try washing it with soap and
water. Dry wiping from the middle outward not
circular.
