Error message:
'Could not perform this operation because the mail client server is not
installed properly'
How do I unistall and reinstall Windows Mail?
I can use Win.Mail to send and receive emails ok.
When I click on a 'Send Email' reply link that should open a Windows Mail
response page I get the above error message. Please advise....

Go to Start menu, or in Control Panel>default programs>and ensure that WM
has all its defaults set.

I've set the defaults etc...but still get the same error message.
Have looked at some of the other problems simiar to mine.
It looks like you have to download MSN messenger windows livebefore windows
mail will recognize your personal accounts as its default server...just a
thought

Ensure that Internet Explorer has all its defaults set too.

You can't uninstall Windows Mail.

Please give us the exact and complete error message.

So far it reads like your outgoing (SMTP) server is not set up properly.

You really need to be more definitive.
Exactly what do you mean by "your personal accounts"?
By any chance is your preferred email service a MSN or Hotmail
web-based service?
