Windows XP will not boot

Hi this is my first post on here, I have just tried to install windows service pack 3, after installing I am unable to boot and I am getting the message
page_fault_in_nonpaged_area. along with the following
***stop: 0x00000050 (0xbad0b114,0x00000000,0x805aff0f,0x00000002)
please can somebody help me. Thanks

The error could be caused be many a thing. According to the MS knowledge base included is Trojans and other spyware maybe even memory issues

I believe this is a known issue of SP3. There was a time when it came out that many machines did exactly this. Many admins freaked out because their systems all were BSOD upon coming in the next day.

I have found that disabling your AV when installing an SP has things going perfectly. Always seem to have problems if the AV is still running.
