I doubt HP will build their own OS. IBM tried with OS/2 and IBM is in the
software business. More of a pipe dream. You are just trying to clutch on
to any positive news about your failing Ubuntu which is total junk on the
desktop. Better go down another path.

Actually, HP/Agilent owns ops systems that are arguably more advanced than
windows. They were/are used on HP's industrial systems.
