why is my bulleted text a different size from that on the master?

When I use a Title, Text and Clipart layout for my slide, powerpoint
automatically reduces the size of the 1st level bullet. How can I force it to
use the size set on the master slide?

ppt knocks 4pts of the master text size because it "knows" that the text box
is narrower. Dont think you can turn this off but in XP on you could have a
second master with level one text set 4 points high and apply only to these
slides.

Did that answer the question / help?

You should be able to turn it off in XP. I'm pretty sure that was one of the
first things I disabled because it was so annoying.

It's under Tools>AutoCorrect>AutoFormat as You Type. Remove the tick mark
from Automatic Layout for Inserted Objects.
