Why is it asking for an Office Disk?, My MSI package is failing!

I've got a MSI package that I've developed, however when one of my clients attempt to install this package, they are prompted with an error

'The path 'Microsoft Office 2000 Professional' cannot be found. Verify that you have access to this location and try again, or try to find the installation package 'data1.msi' in a folder from which you can install the product Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1 Professional.

I am in no way installing Office. Any idea why this might be happening

I don't know if this matters, but my customer has uninstalled the Windows Installer then attempted to reinstall it. Also, in the process, they manually deleted everything out of the \winnt\installer directory. Do you think this has anything to do with it

Thanks so much in advance for your help.

If your customer got these errors after trying to uninstall Windows Installer
and deleting everything from that \installer folder, not only was it the wrong
thing to do, bit they've potentially broken everything installed with MSI on
their system. Why would they think that would help?

If they were getting this error simply because they installed your MSI file, you
may have installed a shared component or deleted something that was being used
by Ofiice. It probably wants the CD to repair it. The event log might give more
detail.
