Why have my links stopped working in my emails

HI, my hyperlinks in the emails I recieve suddenly stopped working and
linking to the websites they were for. Instead a box opens up after I click
the link and the box has a title of "Locate link browser". What do i need to
do to get my links to work again.

Did you recently install or uninstall an old browser?

The Locate Link Browser dialog box appears when you open a Web link in an
e-mail message in Outlook 2003
