Why can't Vista see other computers

W

Wy

Hey Chuck,

All is ok for now and the wireless can see the other computers. I don't
know why I didn't think of this in the first place but the only thing I did
was uninstall the wireless card, reboot, and let it reinstall the card. I
made the necessary adjustments and voila! - the other machines appeared.

If I have anymore problems, I'll repost. I'm just starting to use Vista so
I'm sure I'll be posting again. Again, thanks for all your help. Take
care.

Hi Chuck,

I didn't have the ethernet plugged in so that probably why it doesn't
show.
I'll run the IPConfig and Net logs again tonight. Should I try to run the
browstat also?

Wy,

Browstat shows a lot of good detail. I'd very much like to see its log
from
Vista.
