Why can't I buy Vista?

Vista has shipped in 2006, but not to the general public.. nowhere in Mike
Brannigans statement does he make the point that Vista will definitely ship
to the general public.. what he does state is what has already happened..

You should be careful where you pin the 'loser' badge, because presently you
are losing.. hoping that your badge matches your outfit..
