where is temporary folder?

wanted to download Adobe e-book and the download window said it was
downloading to "temporary folder"
the options to "open" and "save" were greyed out. . where is the "temporary
folder located???? thanks for any help

You can search for the "temp" folder by going to Start/Search/All Files amd
then type in temp or tmp and click on search.

Location - \Documents and Settings\YOURUSERNAME\Local Settings\Temp

In addition:

Go to Windows Explorer/Tools/Folder Options/View: Show Hidden Files and
Folders. And uncheck Hide protected operating system files.
