Temporary Internet Files folder not showing the OLK6 sub-folder?

Hari

Hi,

I was cleaning up my temporary internet files today and I managed to
delete everything except a few cookies.

Later, I was opening up an attachment from my MS outlook (2003) and
saw that it was being temporarily opened from a sub-folder "OLK6"
within temporary internet files folder (checed using save as feature).
But, when I navigated to temporary internet files folder I couldnt see
any "OLK6" folder.

It was surprising because I have hidden folder view turned on.

Then, I manually typed in the address of OLK in IE and strangely could
get in to the desired location.

So why doesnt the Temporary Internet Files folder display OLK6 by
default?

The referenced windowsitpro article doesn't apply to your problem.
Here's how to solve it:

Run the REGEDIT.EXE program and locate the following registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

On the right side of the screen will be the word: ExcludeProfileDirs

Double-click that word, and backspace out all the text in the Value Data
box that will be displayed. Click OK, then close REGEDIT.EXE and reboot
your system. You will now be able to use Explorer to view the contents
of the Temporary Internet Files folder.

Hari,

After TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES add '\Content.IE5' & then you should see it
