When I exit Outlook 2000, on a Win 2000 sp4 pc, it doesnt exit. I have to go
to the Task Manager and end the task. Instead I see a message that says
Please wait while Microsoft Outlook exits.
Thanks in advance.

Has this always happened? How long did you wait? Outlook might be closing
things and taking a while to do so.

G

Gale Freeman

It started about 2 months ago when other users got Office 2003. I left it
overnight and it was still there.

Hmmm, the best way I could think of would be to check with the geeks in the
office first. It just seems interesting that the problem started around the
same time.

Note: Yes, I'm very much a geek myself so feel entirely comfortable calling
the IT folks geeks

G

yeah , my IT guys had no idea either. I will just live with it . Thanks for
trying though.

I have Outlook 2000 sp3 (9.0.0.6627)
Do you know what the most current version would be without going to 2003 ?

You're missing something - the last one I know of is 9.0.0.6673 (and I
could be missing a few later updates). See what office update has for you.
