What is a 'full USENET designation'? Can you give me an example?

While posting questions, I see 'Use full USENET designation' to cross-post
a question. Can you give me an example of a 'full USENET designation' for
one of the Access Forums?

Thanks.

Well, I don't access these newsgroups via a web interface, where they are
probably termed "forums" - I use a simple newsreader. I'd guess that what
is wanted is the full newsgroup name. For example, the newgroup you posted
to is "microsoft.public.access.queries".

How would I know to use "microsoft.public.access.queries" instead of
"microsoft.public.access.database.queries"

Use a newsreader to read a few messages from the group to make sure your
question is ontopic ... ? It will also tell you if the group exists and
that people are posting to it.

If you're diametrically opposed to using a newsreader, use Google Groups
to search for the newsgroup.
