webpage "buttons" won't load

Has anyone had this problem? When I bring up some websites, the "buttons" on
the webpage do not load, so I cannot click on anything on the page. Each
"button" is a blank box with an "x" in the corner. I can open these websites
on other computers.
Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated!

Most such menus and buttons on web pages are done with scripting. The most
common fix is to reinstall your scripting engines from here:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/downloads/list/webdev.asp

If no joy, scripting may be disabled by the security settings on your
browser - Tools...Internet Settings...Security tab.
