Hover Buttons don't display

On my desktop when I display my webpage built with Frontpage the hover
buttons display as small rectangles with a small red x. On other
computers they appear and work fine. I have concluded there must be
something missing in my Internet Explorer browser. I have downloaded
and installed the latest version of Internet Explorer and the problem
continues. Any ideas what else I might try?

Hover buttons are done using scripting. Make sure you don't have scripting
disabled in IE's security settings - Tools...Internet Options...Security
tab, click the Internet Zone to highlight, click Custom button. Make sure
any "security" software you may have running is not blocking scripting.

If no joy, reinstall your scripting engines from here
