Windows XP Wave sound randomly turning off

Every few minutes my wave sound will turn itself off. I can turn it back up but after a couple minutes it shuts itself off again. Along with this my computer will randomly make the clicking sound that occurs when you open a folder or click on a link. I ran AVG and it isolated 2 trojan clickers and then I ran superantispyware which removed multiple files but neither did anything to fix this problem. Can anyone help me out?

You can try out a reg clean to remove also any reg entries left from these trojans, cause trojans use the registry and sometimes their leftover remains after clean. Also use this small program SDFix that does some extra work.
