warning:unable to set the short 8.3 name for....

Hey,
I have this problem with MS Backup in Windows XP Pro. I use it to backup a
usershare on a Novell 4.11 server. I keep getting this msg when i try to
restore or backup the files:

"warning: unable to set the short 8.3 name for: share\filename...etc"

Anyone seen that problem?
