Wake up main PC from laptop.

Don't know if this can be done but I'll ask anyway.
Main PC using XP Pro/SP2 connected via ethernet to wireless router
Laptop using XP Media Centre connecting wirelessly.
If the main PC is in Standby, Hibernate or Off can I wake it up from the
laptop and if so how?
Reason I ask is printer is connected to main PC and it has to be on to print
from laptop.
I know the ideal solution is a print server but can't afford one at present.
Will be dropping hints coming up to Xmas!

It' called "Wake up on LAN". The pc needs a network card and
motherboard that is Wake on LAN compliant. Do a search on the net and
you will find information on this. Check the hardware manual that came
with the pc. The feature needs to be enabled in the computer's BIOS.

Thanks for the reply, PC meets the requirements for WOL.
Did a bit of googling on WOL but one thing I don't get is will it wake from
any state, ie: Standby, Hibernate or Off and can it be put back to one of
these states from the laptop?
